'There's a lion in my loo'

A lion has been found hiding in a public toilet in Zimbabwe.

The animal hid in the loo after it was attacked by locals in the town of Nyamhunga, reports The Star newspaper.

Safari operator Steve Pope said: "I got an urgent call from that there were a bunch of people throwing stones at three lions at Nyamhunga."

Pope said people had been trying to drive the lions out of town, but instead, one lion ran into town, ending up in a public toilet.

Rangers caught the lion and released it back into the bush.

No wonder people are attacked by lions.........they can't go to the loo in peace!!!

I'd be cranky too, if people kept bothering me when I had to go to the bathroom!!! Some experiences just aren't meant to be shared!!!:eek:

Oh and first I thought it was a Californian (mountain) lion. I was disappointed when I heard ot was Zimbabwe;)

Californians aren't THAT brave.....we see wildlife and WE RUN!!!!:D

I'm sure the lion was as freaked out as the hoomans!! Glad to hear he was trapped and released, and not shot!!!
