is a stray long haired black and white cat male and not neuterd i cant keep him but i want to so what do i do

Can you catch him? If you can, you have to catch him and take him to a shelter if you can't convince your mom. Right now the important thing is to get him off the streets and get him neutered, ASAP! Check http://www.petfinder.com for a shelter in your area. Give them a call and see what they can do to help.

I'm not sure about programs in Canada, but you might call the shelter and ask if they know of any low-cost spay/neuter programs. These programs work with vets who will drop the prices. If those programs aren't available in your area, you can raise funds by having a bake sale or a garage sale. I'm having a garage sale soon and selling a bunch of video's, books and CD's that I haven't listened to in a while. The money will go towards getting a kitty (Indya is her name) and operation. Can you earn some money mowing lawns? cleaning house? babysitting?
