Hermit Crabs :D *PICS*

Yeah, i know i posted this in general :p, but no replies, so...
Anyone gots hermies? i have 4 their names are Mango, (who has a pink leopard-spot shell) Doodle, (who has an american flag shell) Jaques :{D (Who has a blue shell) and Rocket Power (who my little brother named, we also call that crab RP. RP has a red shell with some red markings on it.) We got our crabs at the little CRAB PLANET stand in the oaks mall. When u buy a hermie there they give you a little setup with plastic palm trees, sand, half- coconut houses 4 the hermies called "Coco huts" and a little plastic critter container. My hermies were perfectly happy in their old critter cage, but today they got transported to an old fish aquarium, and they are in HEAVEN! lol. Here are some pix of the cage and the crabs:

I love there shells!!! The colors are awsome. Does Crab PLanet sell other kinds of Crabs?? I didnt see water in the tank. Dont they need some? Lol i have no idea but just guessing. It would be cool if you got some Fiddler crabs to go with them!

I love hermit crabs. I used to have one when I was little. I took him everywhere :D Great pictures.

We had hermit crabs for a long time, but I guess we were doing something wrong because we didn't have good luck with keeping them for very long. :( We finally gave up, like we did with hamsters. After the last one died, we made the decision to not get anymore.

ive had hermit crabs for the past 3 years. ive had between 1 and 10 at the same time. they are great pets; quiet, social and non-aggresive! it creeped me out the first time one of 'em molted their skin. i thought the group mulitated one of em, so i counted them to see who it was. but there was still the same number of hermies in the tank. so i was freaked until i took out the 'body' from the habitat and discovered it was only a skin. :rolleyes: oooooo Beware: The Ghost Hermie! oooooo

yes, they do need water, you just can't see it in the pic. And yes, crab planet does sell ALL kinds of Hermies :)

I just wanted to know - I saw they have really pterry colored shells - did you paint them so, or they were like that.. I know sounds dumb, but ... :D
