The smoke has finally cleared--for now at least, there are still many fires burning in the Territory. But today was clear enough to get good pictures!

These were all taken at an area near my home that used to be a copper mine. This was an open pit mine that was abondoned in the 1980's. Now it's a swimming hole and one of my favorite places to take the dogs to play.

Just on the other side of the quarry is this little river--Wolf Creek.

W:eek:W!!!! You live in one GORGEOUS place!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! I loved the pictures. You should share the gorgeous landscape that surrounds your home with us more often. ;)

Oh my, that first and second picture are just gorgeous! I love the way you can see the sky's reflection in the water and the mountains...just beautiful.

And that river does look like doggie paradise. Thanks so much for sharing these!

OMG! That place is stunning! I also adore the creek! I'd love to go there and walk around for hours!

I have to agree with everyone that you live in a beautiful area!! I would love to see these parts of Canada!! No wonder your doggies like to play there! ;) I would too! :D
