Bo is home after 11 days at the clinic for having I-131 for his hyperthyroidism. I am so, so, so happy to have him back. :D :D :D
His nose pimples have almost completely cleared up, and the vet said he only vomited once the time he was there. He was vomiting frequently when he was taking tapizole, so this is good news.
I brought him in, and Hanna ran up, gave him a sniff, and acted like he had never left. The vet warned me he might feel insecure and have trouble readjusting to all the space of home after 11 days in a cage. I fed him dinner and after he went and hid under the basement stairs in a little space, but as soon as I started the grill to grill some burgers for dinner he came back up.
So I don't think he'll have too much trouble getting used to being back home.
I'm going to go cuddle with him now (he has no restrictions about that, that is why they hold them so long).
I'm feeling a lot better now. Bo is HOME!
