Assuming they don't burn down the kitchen tonight, my son and oldest daughter (they can't even cook eggs themselves) are making me dinner....chicken cordon bleu and penne pasta in a lovely alfredo sauce. *gulp* I have to go buy a fire extinguisher now. :D

Thanks eveyone. My birthday was really great. I got a hair straightener, some cool t-shirts (one of which says "I have just kidnapped myself. Give me $1,000,000 or you'll never see me again") :D I also got a new knife, a game and some other stuff.

Dinner went really well. Nothing got burned, and now my son wants to start cooking more! :D My daughter made my cake from scratch, but was so unhappy with it that she cried and thought she'd ruined my birthday. :( That was sad, but I hope I convinced her that it was better than she thought. A couple of people even had seconds! :p
