Our newspaper carries the daily strip "Sylvia" which frequently features her diabolical cats. Todays (Fri 12/22) really cracked me up. We don't get Garfield, whom I miss because Pippin, our biggest Aby, also never met a lasagne he didn't love. Who else has favorite comic strip cats?

I miss Sylvia since I quit taking the Dallas paper years ago. I still have a clipping of a strip about how your cats act when hearing a strange noise in the house. But my favorite funny strip cat, which I have mentioned in a previous post, is Peekaboo of "Rose is Rose". In fact, that strip is my favorite-I love all the Gumbos. I have looked at other funnies at the site Spencer mentions, but they only archive 28 days' worth, so unfortunately the November 99 "Rose is Rose" won't be there.

I can't believe how this site is expanding my horizons! Thank you all, I'll check again eagerly. Even strips that don't feature cats come up with doozies...anybody else remember fondly BC's "Aaaargh! I Dreamt I had a cat scan!"?
