OREGON SPAY/NEUTER GROUP REACHES 20,000th CAT MILESTONE
Four paws up to the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO)! The mostly volunteer-based group reached an important milestone this summer, when the 20,000th feral cat was sterilized at an FCCO clinic. As the group’s Karen Kraus explains it, “To give you an idea and a visual to work with, 20,000 cats nose-to-tail would be 9.5 miles long—that would equate to approximately eight times across the Brooklyn Bridge in New York or the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.”
Way to go! For more info on the group and its work, please visit FCCO online or call (503) 796-2606.
That's a lot of work, and quite an achievement!
 ;)
