What color husky do you prefer?

Well,, I will share a pic of my half husky girl when we get her for a visit on Saturday (We are adopting her) ... shes caramel colored,, but hey,, to naswer the question... I dont have a preference,, they re all pretty!!!

i like the copper headed ones or as some call it orange but i also like the color sable which is kitanas color

Kitana is beautful i like her coat it looks almost 2 different shades! one of my males is great but his but and tail gets more red as he gets older...

It took me years to get 3 of my dogs on DOTD. i also love the Agouti they look like wolves i would love to haev one!!

I used to have a solid white Siberian with blue eyes. His name was Josey Wales. :D He was a giant pain in the rear, but I loved him.

My sister has seven Siberians. I think she has a black and white, two red and white, and the rest silver and white. She also fosters and rescues Siberians, and she currently has a silver and white foster dog. The most unusual one she has was a black and white pinto (piebald) with blue eyes.

I like the silver or black and white ones best.

I like all husky colorations, they are all beautiful and unique. I seem more drawn to striking contrast though. Like I prefer a dark color against white...as in dark red/copper and white (like Nebo) and black and white. I prefer a dark mask too.

I also really like the dark mask. My huskies are TOTAL pains but thats what i love about them:p they are so independent and have the best personalitys!! i also DID fostering for dogs but i recently adopted my 4th husky (MUKLUK) and im way over the limit of allowed dogs in my city so i had to stop. im waitin for him to be DOTD all my other 3 have made it already.

Nebo i cant tell u enough how adorable Ur pooch is :)

Well I guess I would have to say Black & White since that's what Roxey is (she might disown me if I said otherwise:p).

lute, that first picture you posted is actually a malamute... correct me if you know for sure I'm wrong, but that blocky muzzle and mal smile usually doesn't lie. ^^;;
Though I guess some might consider them huskies... I know I, for one, get tired of people telling me what a pretty husky I have when he's so obviously (to me, at least) a Mal.

maybe yur right. i wondered if it were a mal before i posted it. i thought since the tail was uncurled and my husky had a stocky muzzel. i don't know.

Yeah I could almost see it as a husky with a really blocky muzzle -- however, if ya look closely at the tail you can see where the joints curl... So if that guy wasn't tired or slightly bored he'd probably be carrying it over his back in a "waving plume", which is a DQ for sibes if I remember right.
It doesn't really matter, as I see it is listed as a siberian on allpets' pet encyclopedia... Iunno, looks like a Mal to me. ;)
Either way, it's a gorgeous color.

I have a siberian husky and when he's not "tired or slightly bored" his tail is curled...I've never seen a husky that didn't carry their tail like that. :confused: Maybe sibes don't curl their tails as tightly or as much as a malamute but they still do. Here's a photo that shows what Nebo's tail looks like when he's not tired or slightly bored. ;)

This is my Husky/Malamute, Julie. I got her on my tenth birthday and I love her to death. Her mom was a black and white purbred with one brown eye and one green eye. They were both at the animal shelter in Lansing, MI along with Julie's brother,Captain.
