Between the hours of 11:30AM to 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, a defenseless Spider Plant was ruthlessly & maliciously mauled. The poor Spider Plant was growing quite healthy and had quite a few babies sprouting off. I walked through the room where the poor Spider Plant resides and didn't notice the crime until I reached the landing on the second floor. There on the floor was a bunch of dead little spider plant stems!
I rush down to the diningroom, and there, looking quite broken was the Spider Plant. The Spider Plant suffered extensive damge, but will live. It received some aid in the form of water and rotation towards sunlight. A&P Investigations is on the case to determine who commited such evil. They immediately ruled out Nicki since she was not home - she was at Petco with me. Who could have done this? I know its an inside job.

LOL too funny.
I'm sorry catnapper, but I think someone had to have snuck in, to try and frame your poor sweet innocent kitties.
I just refuse to believe that Pouncer or Allen had anything to do with this.;)
I hope you find the culprit that did this ghastly deed and give them the punishment they deserve. But in such cases as this, they are almost never found.
I'm so glad to hear that the victim will survive.:)

Perhaps you can put the poor victims into some soil and they will spring to new life? Maybe that is all the mauler was trying to tell you:p It could happen!!!

I wonder if they heard the term "SPIDER" and thought it was necessary to kill that too? After all, A&P are good little boys, wanting to earn their keep.

Well, I think it's obvious! Dudley the Duck has come full circle!! You remember that the dreaded Dudley started at your house and has visited many many other kitties over the months, causing chaos along the way. I guess Dudley thought it was safe to attack at home base once again. Darn that Dudley!!!!

ROFLMAO! Spider plants don't stand a chance here! At least you were able to salvage a few body parts...RIP spider babies that didn't survive such a horrific attack. :( I hope you at least tried CPR? ;)

No, but I did try SPR: Spider Plant Resuscitation
:D
A similar thing happened here several months ago. I came downstairs in the morning to this:

I had posted the photo here at PT in an attempt to see if someone out there might know the culprit. Someone responded that it was probably a suicidal house plant! :p Maybe that is the case at your house too. I can't imagine Allen and Pouncer doing such a deed! :)

Have you ruled out suicide/infantcide?
Consider this sad case of Plant Suicide (http://67.15.70.205/talk/showthread.php?threadid=7700&highlight=plant+bathroom+paw) discussed earlier here at P.T.

You said you and Nicki were at Petco during the crime. Is it possible that *someone* could have overheard your plans and maybe became a little jealous? Just a thought for A&P Investigations to ponder.
