Obsessed Ferret

[Queen of Poop]

Have any of you ferret owners ever had a ferret wash his hands/face in the water bowl? One of my 2 boys does this. He dips his face in beyond his eyes then shakes the water off, raining down on anyone who might be close. I asked our vet if this was normal behavior but she'd never heard of it. Guess he just likes to be clean. ;)

I own a ferret and he does it too. I guess It's their way of cleaning themselves...because I do know that they don't was their face with their hands. It might be the breed of your ferret. Is he a Silvermitt? Mine is and he does it.

I have one my baby Donnie does that, i thought they didnt like water (Tia doesnt) she goes biserk if she get's her paws wet by accident, but Donnie hes literally jumps in it if the bowls big enough.
It's fun to watch but hey there always fun to watch
