I've seen some photos of those gorgeos kitties.. I fell in love with them. I think some of you have abyssinians on PT right? could you tell me bit about these cats, about their character or maybe history :) thanx :)

Esster, I'm sure when Barbara, Sasvermont and a few others see this, you'll get lots of good info on Aby's. ;) One thing I know about them is that they're very talkative and like high places.

As you know Filou is an Abyssinian. And there are some more on Pet Talk: like

Miley, Juni Rose and Chloe (sasvermont), Mango and Peaches (Randy_K), Costello (Abycat Alice), Maya and Bodhi (lailamara), Tama (Neko1), Micah (Noah's Mommy), Bastet (Bastet's mom) and I am sure I forgot someone.

Abys are the most playful and loving kitties. Many of them love to sit on shoulders, love water (Filou just bumped in the shower this morning) and are great jumpers and climbers.

I think they believe they are humans and treat us like fellows.
I could not imagine my life without an Aby.
