Eleanor just wants to convey she has bad litter habits and doesn't bury but she charmed her way into adoption :) Having bad litter habits isn't so bad. LOL

Can Karina's care taker try different TYPES of litter? Maybe she doesn't like the fel or the scent? Maybe it is too far away and she is reluctant to leave her babies?
Hope they can help her to learn.

Oh how frustrating! I think Jen has great advice about trying different litters and/or moving the box closer to where she is caring for her babies. Sure hope *something* works!!:(

I very much hope that they can sort out the problem. Karina deserves to be given every chance for a new home.

Poor Karina - I hope she manages to sort out her litterbox issues so she can find a nice forever home.

i willmention,the idea,of different litters,to Dale,but they also are concerned,that no matter,what specialised diet,they feed her,Karinas Stools,are loose,and drippy!

Maybe Karina can't make it to the box in time if she has diarrhea. Has she been wormed I hope? Another suggestion until she's using the litterpan is the crate her. Or if she were in a small room that's easy to clean up like a bathroom it will allow her closer access to the potty. Prayers that she'll start feeing better, and start using the litterpan. ;)

We'll keep our fingers and paws crossed that Karina learns to use the litterbox. A different kind of litter may be a good idea, and also, put it somewhere quiet. If she has an upset tummy, perhaps that's what she's trying to tell you.

Good luck! :)

Skinny recommends a spoonful of pumpkin pie (filling) that's 100% pumpkin ingrediants (brand name Libby). That binds loose and drippy potty. :)

I agree with qsl about diareah, she probably gets cramps and can't control her bowels. She probably feels awful- does she try to bury her accidents? Do you have access to Strongid or droncit? I hope you have a low cost cat rescue friend around to help you with vet cost things such as this! Keep the faith that she probably is not doing this intentionally! fingers and toes crossed for you and karina!
