Hello! I originally posted a week ago about my new rescue dog: thread HERE (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54974). Thank you to everyone who gave me such supportive advice and I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. My little girl and I have had a busy week - she's been to the vet twice and we are getting used to each other. :) She is still limping, but she is on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine and I am keeping my fingers crossed. Here's a picture of her after one of our walks.

She is such a sweet girl - it makes me so sad to think of how neglected she was when I met her. :(

She looks like such a sweet dog! I hope she continues to get better. She's got some beautiful eyes. Congrats on getting a dog, too!

I couldn't help but notice that you are from Vermont too!
I saw that Cookiebaker asked what area you were from in your other thread and you are right near me!
It would be great if you could join us the next time we have a Vermont Pet Talk meeting!:)

She doesn't look exact, but she reminds me a lot of my Samantha girl. Beautiful eyes, gorgeous coloring. You got a beauty there. :)

Thanks everyone! Phoebe came to work with me today and she's sleeping under my desk right now. :)

Vermontcat and Cookiebaker, I'd love to get together with you - do you have another meeting scheduled?

In the past we have met at Petsmart and at the Cat Show at the Sheraton and even at Sasvermont's house.
We talked about meeting at one of the fairs later this summer.
Maybe Cookiebaker has some ideas about the place and date?
One of us can PM you when we have a plan.
It would be fun to meet another Pet Talker in our area.:)
