need a suggestion 4 Companion

Ok,,, I think was asked before by another person,, but I need some suggestions as to what type of dog might be a suitable companion dog for my Dobie/Am Staff cross...... We have a 13 yr old in the house and hubby and I,,,, Lucy is 2 yrs old and VERY spoiled!!! I am a Domestic Goddess,, lol lol,, so I can give 24/7 attention !!!

I wouldn't suggest any particular breed, I suggest visiting shelters and seeing who appeals to you, then coming back with Lucy. Does she get along well with bigger dogs or smaller ones? Does she react differently to male dogs than female dogs? What are your needs and preferences as to coat length and grooming needs? How much space do you have for the two dogs to run and play? How active is Lucy?

All these questions matter more than breed!

Well,, I love mixed breeds,, mutts,,, definatly looking at the shelters,, thats how we found the late Cosmo... Lucy is playful but mostly a couch tater,,,, Short hair is a must.... she gets along with most dogs,, hasnt had a fight,,,

I would go to the shelter and find a dog that you think would get along with Lucy or you could get a purebred doberman from a rescue place.
