Jumping Dogs

My Conan, bless his little heart gets so excited that when we have company he has to jump up to try and give kisses. He does this like 3 times and then he's done, but I can't stand it. He's a big dog and I'm scared he'll knock someone over. Plus its just plain embarrassing. HELP!!! How do I stop him of this????

put him on a leash when you have company,then when he jumps,'correct' him,and let him know that he doesnt have to jump to get attention,i had the same problem with my dog,Kodie,he's till young though but he doesnt do it as much anymore.
