Dreams about your pet

I am commenting on the poll we have currently on petoftheday.

I ALWAYS dream about Major. ALWAYS. At least 2-3 times a week. They are always of him dying. One, back while school was still in, he got flushed down the toilet and his head fell off.

Recently I dreamed somebody played anti-anti I over (sp?) with him over this shed and he fell down one of those pipe things on top of houses..only the reason he could fit in there was because he was Elvis (the shnauzer) but he was MAJOR just in that form at that particular moment. My teacher I believe did that to him..old teacher. I don't know what I always have these weird dreams of Major, but I ALWAYS do.

I have only ever had one dream about my pets (that I remember) and it was about Trevor. I dreamed that I was at the movies and I had taken Trevor along. He became restless sitting in the seat and jumped down on the floor and starting eating popcorn that he found there. All of a sudden he started choking on the popcorn and I grabbed him and raced into the lobby and started shouting "is there a vet or a human doctor here?" Just as a man was rushing up to help me Trevor stopped choking. (Don't ask me why I took him to the lobby. Wouldn't there have been more people in the theater? :rolleyes: ) Thankfully it was only a dream!

I have had some good and bad dreams about my dogs but I've dreamed quite often of them (I dream every night so it's no wonder I've dreamed of them!).

I dreamed not too long ago that my RB Keisha came to me to let me know it was not my fault that she died and I should forgive myself. It was such a real dream & I felt to wonderful after I woke up:)

Anyways...I never have dreams of my pets, except awhile ago I have on and off dreams of Maggie.

I've had dreams of my dogs dying too -- but, thankfully, they're only dreams!

Last night I had a weird dream. All I remember is a picture or a painting of a girl with short hair crying, and a Golden Retriever laying next to her. I'm positive it was a Golden. I have these really weird dreams once in awhile.. but I'm not sure what this one means yet.

I dream about my pets a lot, sadly, most of them are depressing and sad. I have nightmare where the house gets hit by a tornado and I can't get them to the basement fast enough. When I was digging in the rubble I came across their bodies. I've had nightmares about the house burning up with the animals trapped inside. I have also had nightmares about the horses up at camp. Some were about them getting struck by lightning, getting "run over" by a tornado, or stolen by a horse theif. One time I started to cry because the nightmare was so terrible.

I have had dreams about owning Yellow Labs and horses, those are the kind I LOOOOVE. :D Now, all I need is a dream where my rats never get tumors and have them removed for free- now if only that dream came true.

I have only had one dream about my animals. It was of my RB Tony. A very strange dream....I was walking up a highway ramp near where I work now and Tony was with me but not at my side so I turned around to look for him and all I saw was red all over the road. Tony died (very peacefully) a week later. That is the only dream I have EVER had and I can still see the dream in my head like I had just drempt it.

I don't have many dreams about my pets dying. Actually, I can't remember even one dream about my pets dying.

I have had dreams about my pets being hurt, though. I am so glad that all of these dreams are... dreams!

I ALWAYS have dreams that my bunny has babies, but I'm never allowed to keep them. I hate it because the bunnies are always smaller than my pinky (remember, this is a dream) and they are sooooo cute. Just resently, I had a dream that my neighbors gave my bunny away without asking me.:( Then, I got mad and my bunny popped out of my ears!:eek: Isn't that strange?! So I guess this answers your question, yes I do dream about my dear bunny!;)

I have been having a LOT of dreams lately about Mercedes, who went to RB one year ago this month...I think about her every day but guess this month has been particularly bad
