Every good sled dog knows that when you get a chance to rest, you take it!

Hobo taking a break. He was the first one down every time we stopped. I suspect someone trained him to lay down when the sled stops---handy trick, might help prevent loosing the team!

Antare laying in the tall grass. He was so happy to see his harness again, he almost lost his little mind.

Founder relaxing.

There is no way Franklin is going to lay down. He's the only dog who refused to today. Franklin would pull all day every day if he was allowed to.

Shot of today's training team just before we started the final part of the trail home. Today was the first time they've been in harness since April and the first time HObo has ever run in lead. Hook up was a complete gong show. On top of being overjoyed to see their harnesses, they haven't been run in almost 2 weeks while I've been away. But once we got going, things went pretty well.
