Good to See that there are still good people!

Hi there my friends
just though of sharing with you one thing that made me feel good today.
I wen to a supermarket inone of those big super malls that are speading in my country (Portugal). And at the door there was this abandoned animal protection association giving baby kittens and puppies to those proving to have the proper conditions to have them. Almost all animals were given away, hopefully for a better place than the street!
And more! they had this campaign where they were asking for canned food for the animals and lots of people gave it! Guess some cats and dogs will eat better today! This kind of association don't have any help from the government!
At least they can be helped by good people that even if they cannot have the animals , they help!

There ARE good people everywhere, we just don't hear about them as much on the news. Both the rescue organization, the people who gave the kittens and puppy dogs new homes, and those donating food - they are all doing their own bit to make the world a better place for everyone. Glad to hear it! :)

Thanks for sharing that- it was very uplifting after all the news stories today about what is going on now in the mid-east attacks. You're right, there ARE good people!
