I don't usually go no the cat board, although I love cats, and want one, but am ellergic. Any way, was listining to the radio while in the car, and heard about this cat named precious who lived through The tragic events of sept. 11. He was in there nineteen days!!!some minro eye injurys, and a little burnt on his feet, but he's going to live! I was so happy, and wanted to just grab him ( or her) up. Im starting to believe that cats have 9 lives. :-)

I just saw the CBS news report on Precious. He is a white Persian. Despite drinking contaminated water, he will be fine and has been reunited with his humans :) :) :)
Awww, I love white persians. I wish I could have seen this story about Precious, although I'm sure it'd make me cry forever. I'm so glad it has a happy ending!!!

An amazing story isn't it. I heard it on the local news last night and made hubby stay up later so I could see it. Precious looked really good for all he/she had been through and was remarkable mild mannered, even letting the reporter hold him/her  I looks like Precious may have been shaved around her middle, but I can't tell for sure. Certainly a very lucky cat and family. :D

Hi all
over here in Portugal I heard about Precious too! It's amazing! That's storry reallygave a reason to smile facing this events.
But I feel sad about all the ppl that unlike Precious didn't make it. But perhaps, perhaps we could have nother miracle (i hope) after all no one expected this one right?
PEACE and all my positive thoughts are with u guys in USA. Hope u or anyone else get through that again
and i know this is the kitty's talk but i think that everyone here follows me when i say this:
the animals are amazing; if not, just look:
- the dedication of that poor dogs that keep strugling with the fireman and the volunteers
- the dedication of the dog that guided a blind man down the stares and away of the buildings
- the concern of the pets of those afected
i'm not sure but, aren't they the angels we keep hearing about?

A friend just called me to tell me that she had seen the story on CNN. You may want to tune in to them since they sometimes repeat stories.
