This is the first time I breed them. No more picture's right now though:( Daisy won't let anyone near them anymore!

theyre border collie

that's what I thought, but it was hard to tell because the picture is small and they're all grouped together. I love border collies I have a border collie mix! my favourite breed of dog is the Nova scotia duck tolling retriever!

I hope you enjoy being on pet talk! all the people here are really nice! when you get a chance try and take some pictures of all the puppies again, maybe when the mom has to go to the bathroom you could because then she wouldn't be around!

how is it not a border collie? BCs dont look like anything, that dog could VERY easily be a border collie, most people think misty is a mix of some sort and she is a pur BC, there are BCs that look like hounds, and retreivers, etc.. because what makes a BC is whats in the head not physical features.

I've never seen a border collie with such short hair and terrier appearance. And besides, it's not her dog anyhow, so who cares! :p

My uncle used to have a border collie that looked very similar to the one posted, everyone thought he was a bc/JRT mix! He was purebred though.

he didn't have him for very long though, because he kept nipping everyones heels and he was 8 when he got him from the shelter so my uncle had to give him away because he didn't trust anyone well enough to get properly trained! I don't know if that's entirely true but that's what my uncle said! and since he got him from the shelter who knows if he was purebred or not, thats just what they told us!

yellowlablover you do know that BCs come in smooth coats dont you? they range but very short to very very long, their ears vary is size, shape, and are carried anywhere from totally flopped to totally pricked, their face vary in shape, and their muzzle very in length from rather short to very long, from blunt to pointed... you get the picture.

one question, how does having the same birthday make 2 people that same person? lol I share my birthday with a guy in my class, guess were the same person:p

and snickersloves birth year is the same as hers, the date is different!

Toller, my dad's friend Craig has a rat terrier that looks exactly like the dog in the other picture, except a wee bit smaller.
