Steve, I am honored to be the first one to tell you what a gorgeous boy you are! You're another shining example that Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes are not bad, the people that train them to do bad thing are bad. So glad you showed up on that porch 4 months ago. Happy to see you so healthy and your fur so shiny. Have fun hiding your rawhides. You were a great DOTD!

I just love your rags to riches story. Not only are you sweet and loving (handsome too!) but pretty darn smart to have picked just the right house. I love that you're spoiled rotten with love from family & friends (both human and canine).

Enjoy the rest of your happy life!

What a nice story about your Steve! I hope the people that abandoned him and left him to die alone, drive by your house and see what a beautiful dog he has become. Shame on them, and good for you, giving him such a loving home!

Dottie :-)

Oh what a handsome young boy you are dear Steve! It's hard to imagine that mere months ago you were homeless and abandoned, frightened and alone, hovering near death:( What's more unimaginable is the thought that any human being could be so cruel and heartless as to do something so unspeakable. But thankfully a higher power intervened, guiding you safely to those humans who would care for, love and cherish you forever! And just look at you now...the very picture of good health and confidence:) Your ability to forgive, to learn to trust and love again, to embrace life is simply inspirational! Steve, I'll bet best bud Copper and all your paw pals at Doggy Day Care are going to be so happy when they hear that you, sweetheart, are being honored as our very special and most deserving Sunday Dog of the Day! I wish for you and your wonderful, proud family a long, long lifetime of unconditional love, companionship and happy days:) Congratulations to you precious Steve:)

Wow, How did you know, sweetie? How did you know exactly where to go? You smart, beautiful little fur baby, I think it was much more than luck that got you exactly where you needed to be, and just in time. Shame on the people who abandoned you  What makes people just "throw away" something so precious, as if you were just an item to be discarded and not a living, breathing creature who wants nothing more than to love and be loved? I will never understand it. Dogs like you, sweet Stevie, will give back so much more than they'll ever receive. Your new forever family was smart enough to knows this. Thank goodness for them :D Enjoy your day, little fur-angel ;)

:D :D STEVE!! You are beautiful. I don't know how you ended up where you did at such a young age but you are the luckiest pup to have found that particular front porch to land on. I am so happy that you found your forever home with such a great family. Congratulations on being a very special DOTD. Very deserving. :D
