I let her loose today...sing along..BORN FREE..

I let my rescued painted turtle go today. She deserved a life with her own species and a chance to go forth and reproduce. She swam right toward the other turtles that were basking in the sun, and climbed up with them. I rescued her last Fall from a flower pot where kids hadn't fed her, or even remembered she was there! Be happy Myrtle!

Will you please take her and her new found friends in for the winter? It's so cold here in the winter, what shall she do?

She shall hibernate like she's supposed to on the bottom of the pond! She will grow fat on bugs (geesh, she's fat already) and make whoopie with the handsome large studs out there....she had her eye on the big boy! ;) ;) She'll bask in real sunshine....not fake....she'll be what she's supposed to be...a native species. The others need a trip to Florida!:D
