Roadside, I think you should have a second name as well as a first. Your full name should be Roadside Gift because you truly were a gift from the side of the road. You are a beauty, intelligent & full of love & fun....EVERYTHING anyone could want in a dog.
We had a little mixed breed dog that we found abandoned at the roadside, too. She went on to live a wonderful life...just like you...& went to the Rainbow Bridge at age 22 years. I wish you a long & happy life, too, Roadside (oops, I mean, Roadside Gift!).
You truly deserve to be one of the most famous Dogs of the Day. :)

Roadway, is a super neat Aussie, I have three and have had Aussies more than 18 years now, they're like little people with paws, so smart and playful. She remainds me of mine. This is a heartfilled story and love that goes both ways. :D May you have many happy years together :)

There is something about dogs who start out life in difficult circumstances- they just appreciate things so much, that it shows in their face like that. My dog who was neglected then abandoned at 3 yrs. old has that same look.
