Dorothy I am truly VERY sorry for the rude and insensitive comment I made in the "Cat General: Hannah Mae" thread. :(

Like I told you on the phone, Dorothy, there was no excuse for what I said. :(

What most of you don't know is that Dorothy and I got off to a rocky start when I first began working at BB&B. But after a while, we became friends (good friends, I think) who both have a great passion for cats.

When Hannah Mae was found in the park, I had to find her a home, as I already had 8 cats and just couldn't keep her. Dorothy was kind enough to take Hannah. She took her to the vet, got her all her shots and found out Hannah was pregnant. After her babies were born, she had her spayed. All of this was at her expense. Someone who would do THAT out of the kindness of her heart, to me, deserves praise and shouldn't have been treated as badly as I treated you.

I am SO very sorry Dorothy, and I do hope one day you can find it in your heart to forgive me. You've done a wonderful thing by taking in Happy (Hannah) and putting up with what you've had to deal with on top of that.

I have decided to delete the whole thread.

Oh, and I absolutely WILL take Happy if things do not work out. It's a promise I made and intend to keep.

I've learned a new lesson today. Words cut like a knife and once said, can never be taken back.

I admire you for saying you were wrong, I know how hard that was and to admitt it on a public forum is really wonderful of you. Now, let's hope she accepts your apology...

Just remember folks, once the words leave your lips, they can not be erased and words can cut to the core of a person like a kinfe can... Think before you speak! (this is not addressed to you moonsmom but to everyone!)

Donna, we've all "been there, done that" .... I admire you for having the humility to admit you were wrong and make it "right"! ;)

Don't know what happened either. Big hugs to both of you. I hope the love you share for our furbabies will help mend your friendship.

Donna,
A long time ago, some one told me that God put erasers on the ends of pencils for a reason. We ALL make mistakes. We have all been there, probably..maybe some of us more than others.

Hopefully, Dorothy can think over what you have written, and come to terms with what has happened. Life is too short.
