Woo Hoo?
Guess no one's here yet.
Well, Mario, what are you doing here? How about a picnic this week?
What?
No! No baloons right now. I don't want an air sick monkey on my hands again!
How about a beer and a hamburger? and chips?
You can watch me make the potato salad. Let's see what everyone else brings!:D

THE BAR IS OPEN!
It doesn't take much to amuse this small mind.....
Thanks MOFF!! This is just what I need. I think I'll pass on the wine cooler and wait for Richard to get back and make a pitcher of slushies; preferrably strawberry :) :)
Mario, watch where you are swinging that bat! We don't want Richard speaking with a high voice

Hi everyone, how are you all doing this day? I hope you are all doing okay!
Think I'll just have a beer, I am being so lazy today! But not for long, I still have a hall closet to clean out, that daughter of mine, when she cleaned, piled everything in there. If I don't get back, you'll know everything fell on me!
So are we having a picnic? Sounds great to me! I have been trying to get Mario to let me take some pictures of him, and he is being too shy! Hard to imagine Mario being shy.

Here's a great bar/baseball joke.....order a pitcher of beer and when it gets to the table ask for a 'Left handed pitcher'...
Grab a beer from the ice chest, Tray!

I'll have one of those slushies too, Richard - thanks!
I brought some potato salad and some baked beans. Got the beans in a crock pot with a 12V plug on it (motorhome specialty) so if I could plug this into your truck too, they'll stay nice and warm. Home made beans too, my moms recipe - yuuum-me!

Sorry David, I don't mess with any other woman's man!!! You'll just have to fit into that pitcher by yourself, unless you want to take Mario in with you.

Good on you Lynne. I've already purchased about 6 Christmas presents so far and plan to do plenty more in the coming month off.

HEHEHEHE,

Lynne, I think Richard means brat - as in bratwurst. It's just that it's not pronounced like a naughty kid, it's pronounced more like Richard spelled it. ;)
They're yummy, and since I'm from Wisconsin, land of the brat, you can bet I'll take one Richard!!!
What a yummy picnic we have going here, brats, burgers, beans, cole slaw (yummy!) potato salad, cheese tray and all the other goodies. The only other thing we need are some weiners. Yes, weiners, not hot dogs. My mom gets some from this fabulous little meat market way out in the country by her. They're made from the original "old world recipe" and boy are they yummy! I bet most of you don't even know what a weiner is. Seems that those skinless things that pass for hot dogs these days have really taken over. :(
Ok, everybody get your mind out of the gutter now, there really is a difference between a weiner a hot dog and a red hot.....it'll just take me awhile to research. I could *show* you, but I can't explain it, but weiners are much much better than hot dogs.
Ok, now that I've bored you beyond belief, if I could just figure out how to pour this left handed pitcher with my right hand.....

They stopped using it when they discovered the red dye caused people to die - it caused cancer. I shudder to think how many of those things I ate!

It's an English thing, Lynne can tell you. Bangers are sausages and I think mash is mashed potatoes. My heritage is English, Irish and Scottish

Thanks Richard, now I know how to make Terry's all time favorite meal when he goes to Germany! I'm sure they use even different sausages and I think the potatoes are different, but other than that it's the same thing. He'll be so thrilled, he loves that stuff! :D
Now you really must explain how to pour this left handed pitcher. I've spilled it all over myself and made a big mess. I don't really care about the clothes, it's the waste of a good slushie that has me upset. ;)

I'll bring red-white-and-blueberry cake. That's the family's traditional blueberry cake recipe - excellent and always there for July 4th celebrations - with either raspberries or craisins thrown in for patriotic color.
Anybody gonna bring lemonade to the picnic?

I'll bring ice tea! Can't do lemonade myself. :( I make a mean salad! You name it (well almost) it's in there! How about some deviled eggs? Stuffed mushrooms? Man I'm getting too hungry thinking about this pick-in-nic Boo Boo! I'll even bring ants! :D :D :D

Oh Karen - CAKE! My fave! Well we can share the colour can't we - both being red, white and blue!! Yummy.
QSL - Made me giggle - I adored Yogi Bear when I was a lot younger - I'd probably still adore him now!! :D :D
Here you go Debbie - British Bangers and Mash - hope you enjoy - I've served them with cabbage hope thats OK.
Anyhoo - how are we all feeling this morning? Bright eyed and bushy tailed I hope - 'cos I'm in agony. My backs been feeling painful since Tuesday - and it's now getting on my nerves - I don't suffer from back pain normally - so just leave me sat in this corner having a moan (whine) about how unfair etc etc etc................a little wine spritzer might cheer me up!!:D

He likes plants too. No Remus, you can't chew on those! See, he even has to terrorize the plants in the bar...
Eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns and some kibble for Mr Remus. *Yawns* Another boring day at the office and a portend for how hidiously BORING next week is going to be! Oh well...thats what laptops are for.

Another rainy day here in my real world! YUCK! Good thing I can escape to the sunny land of the bar where it would dare not rain!
I think I'll start with a cherry limeade, please. Oh, yes, the cats would like their catnip tea on ice today too!
Aw, Mario, I see you have a new pal now! Just what you need, a sidekick! Now you can play Batman and Robin. Just no jumping off things trying to fly.

No she was very sure this time. and this guy only had 2 fights and they were all caused by one of clarissas uncles who could careless about any thing but him self(family that moved and took half the wedding party) but they are older than your daughter . 22 and 37 Clarissa has been on her own and buying a house for 4 years. Corinna, they just make me want to bang my head on the wall, or better yet, theirs! They are like a light switch, they're on, they're off, they're on and then they're off again! You are so right, they need to wait a long time, before they get married, they do have too many fights. I think Lindsey is more mature than he is. She is more responsible about paying her on bills and he still depends on his mother to pay his!
Oh my, is Mario and Remus trying to play batman and robin? Aren't they cute together?!
Willie:)
Have any of you walked into the bar a little late and gone back and read everything to be sure you didn't miss out on anything?
We are such a hilarious group...........
Remus - a big welcome
Mario - always a necessary patron here
Bangers and Mash - now you are talking!
Karen's cake - Slick can I have your piece too? (I love people who don't like sweets)
A wedding on Saturday
No wedding for Willie's daughter (glad she gave the ring back).
Not too much alcohol this week but lotsa good food!
Mario, yes, I already mentioned you - Wow what have you been drinking? Your breath knocks me out!
Yes, Remus, he does smell funny doesn't he?
Think I will just settle for some nice hot coffee with cream. It is going to be a nice day here isn't it?

Hi Slick!
The 4th I will be in the Dayton Ohio area - watching the fireworks - or at least that is the plan. The past 3 years my sister's party has been stormed out. The only fireworks we all saw was from the sky and from her because her power also went out and her house got really HOT

OUCH! I'm a hurting unit. :( I need Mario's help on this trapping safari. I'm too durn old to be hiking over six foot high stone walls, and climbing down rock cliffs. *sigh* I did catch two of the elusive wee suckers though. My left shoulder is torn up feeling....thankfully I'm right handed. Carmen feels left out of all the fun, and I think Mario would look just way too cute riding on her back! http://img42.photobucket.com/albums/v128/QueenScoopalot/SillyLizard.jpg What do ya'll think? Catland, that is too funny! It's good you didn't try to explain, why ruin a nice evening? Terry just rolls his eyes. I told him we had a picnic yesterday so I wasn't hungry for dinner. You can see why he rolls his eyes. ;) :D
I'll take one of them Spanish coffee thingys, although now that I look at it, it's 1:30 already! How did that happen?
I did a real dumb thing this morning. As most of you know, I'm the only one in my office besides my boss and he's usually gone. So needless to say when I get in in the morning, I need my keys to open the door. Weeellll.....I took Terry's car today and forgot to grab my office keys off my keychain. So I get to work, start walking to the door and realize I have no keys. The good (or bad) news is that my boss wasn't far away and came by to let me in. Sometimes he's way out in the suburbs, and I was almost wishing that's where he was and he would tell me to just go home - no such luck. Seems I've been taking Terry's car more and more since he needs the carrying capacity of the Tracker, so I think I'm going to make an extra key and just keep it in Terry's car so this doesn't happen again. Yep, gettin' old. :D

You must have been overcome with Patriotic Fervor to want to put words from the Declaration over the Richard's Place sign. Did Mario show you that big "climbing" tree behind the building? I heard about your tomboyish ways, Ann says you used to climb doorfacings, too, "like a little monkey" she just said!:)

OMG, Andy, I had forgotten about climbing doorfacings! Dakota and Kelby do that too! I used to climb trees too, yeap, I was a big tomboy! Ann is right! Where is she anyway?
Andy, are you doing okay? I never hear from my favorite brother-in-law any more. What have you been doing? And what has Ann been doing? You and Ann are going to have to start stopping by more often, and having a drink with us! I miss seeing you here, and I miss Sipowitz too!
Willie:)

You can usually find Ann at the end of the hose, she has lots to water. She's been catching grasshoppers for Sipoweitz ( he's so big and fat it takes two hands to hold him now). She also spends time playing with Tiny and JoJo and Pandy and Sunny and the birds. Believe it or not, she is way into Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen music.
I have grass to mow and a JazzGuitar forum that have been keeping me pretty busy, when I'm not working. Now, Willie, about all that Spring cleaning...let me whisper a secret....( it's Summer!)

Andy, you know I am always late with everything! I am done except for a closet under the stairs that Lin stored "stuff", I really am dreading that worse than Lindseys room! Then I want to straighten the upstairs up, move a few things around. Then I will be happy!

Bob Dylan, my hero. Leonard Cohan! I still have an old record of his, (remember 33 records? I still have some 45's and my moms 78's ) OK.. somewhat schmaltzy poems but I loved them. I was into that stuff and ee cummings and Lawrence Ferlingetti. Geez, I'm aging myself again :o I miss Sipowitz too!
