Her other Mommie came by again to check on her... I have to give her credit, she has checked on her faithfully since I have had her and Midnight responds to her more than she does me so I was glad she came.. She brought Bridget, Midnights kitten that she kept so I could see her (haven't saw her since I left to go to the boat last month.). And much as I didn't want that kitten to ever know my house, I wanted her to come and see if Midnight would respond to her baby and she did, BRIEFY.. but she did. She did the Meowmie purr cry thing and licked her baby and laid her head back down. I could hear some might loud purring in that kennel so I laid my hand in there to see which one it was, it was the kitten..
Sorry, but I HAD to get pictures so you could see them. When you get tired of all these pictures, just say so and I will not quit, but will slow down! (LOL!) Just look at this adorable baby!! She has took her and got her first round of shots.. I think maybe I am helping educate this woman on the proper care of your animals... She even took her puppy and got it's first shots too.. Told her to QUIT putting it outside before it became some preditors dinner one day!

Bridget is BEAUTIFUL and she is so fluffy and soft. I buried my nose in all that fur and gave her so many kisses!!

Gorgeous meowmy and gorgeous baby....but it really p**sses me off when people tire of the older pet, and decide to do a trade in (put nicely) for a younger model. I'm so glad you are at least getting through to this woman anyway! Too bad Bridget just can't live with you and Midnight. Good job on mama Midnight! ;)

Good job on educating the woman. Now if you can just get her to have Bridget and the puppy neutered before they have any more babies.
Midnight and Bridget are adorable together. I just wish Midnight was feeling better. :(

GREAT NEWS! Midnight is up and out of the kennel, on her own!! I noticed my other gang sitting at the door, straining to see inside through the air vent so I opened the door and there she sat!! I picked her up and hugged her and she purred like a 18 wheeler! Still not eating but sniffing at it and using the litter box. We have made a major leap on the road to recovery!:D :D :D

I am so happy to hear that Midnight feels better. Now she will for sure start to eat, the poor little girl.
I agree with Jan: I cannot understand how people can just trade an older cat for a baby. And Midnight is cuteness herself!
I am happy that she lives with you now!

Well, She is at the door this morning, howeling to get out! She is NORMAL again!! Little sweatheart is all better and now we can work on getting them all to be friends!! She even ate a little during the night because a lot of her food was gone that I had put down before I went to bed. Thank You Lord for giving me my girl back!

Would you believe SHE came back today to see how Midnight is today?? I am beginning to actually think that she loves that cat, just didn't know HOW to take care of her.. I preached again to her to keep that baby INSIDE!! and I also told her I want her to go down to the shelter with me one day to see how MANY unwanted, abused and lost animals there are out there so she can SEE why I want that baby kept inside!

Gosh you seem to be making wonderful progress with your neighbour, this is so encouraging to hear, let us hope you can educate her well, and maybe she will never neglect a kitty again.
I still think Midnight is in the best place possible with you, naturally she will respond to the only person she has known, whether or not she took good care of her, if she was not physically abusive to her,its all she knows i guess.
In time she will love you and realise what a wonderful home she finally has. Good luck with your new baby.
