Here's a closeup of the horribly infected kittens eyes. These creeps shouldn't be allowed to own a fish even! No wonder the third kitten died. http://img42.photobucket.com/albums/v128/QueenScoopalot/PoorSickBaby.jpg   http://img42.photobucket.com/albums/v128/QueenScoopalot/EyecloseupSoSick.jpg Should any animal have to suffer like this??? http://img42.photobucket.com/albums/v128/QueenScoopalot/SickBabiesEyes.jpg Not to mention they were seething with fleas!!!!!

I read your other post about these kitties and the dog. This is absolutely HORRENDOUS!

The people should be reported and never be allowed to have another pet!!

Poor, poor kitties! And what happens to the dog?

I hope these two will respond to the treatment very soon - it's just too sad. :( :( :(

Cindy (who is a nurse) took the two kittens last night, and called me to say at LEAST 100 dead fleas were on the blanket within hours of me putting Advantage on them! And still dropping.   Poor babies are no doubt lethargic from flea anemia. The one tabby boy who's eye was badly puffed up with infection had a lot of fluid buildup come squirting out when Cindy put meds in it. I am praying the eye isn't ulcerated or worse. Still no signs of the eye itself yet, but they're hanging in there for now. :( I'm going by there later to apply some Advantage to that poor dog, and as many cats as I can get near. At least it will provide them with a month of relief. This whole thing just makes me sick.   On a good note, the six I got about two weeks ago are romping and playing and all in MUCH better health! :)

I will keep my comments on the former "owners" to myself or I will be banned from PT.
Those poor sad little babies. I'm so glad you were able to rescue them. I only hope and pray that there has been no permenant damage done to their eyes.
I know we will soon have pictures of the very happy, healthy kittens when you get through with them.
Bless them and bless you for all the work you do.

I'll keep track of the kittens and get some pictures when they improve. Poor little things. So sweet, so weak, and so in need of the help they're finally getting. I hate to think of how long this has been going on with these bast***s! And how many kittens didn't make it through their first week of life. I am getting itchy thinking about the flea infestation that must be in that basement. :(

Poor defenseless little kitties. What did they ever do to deserve this. :(

Thanks so much for doing whatever you can to help these babies and the ones that are still left in the house. :(

How sickening! I don;t care if the Pope brought these cats to your attention... these people need to be charged with animal abuse and neglect! Send them to jail and cover THEM in fleas! Grrrr

These people are evil! Why is our society creating such self centered humans with no empathy for defenseless creatures. I Thank god that there are people like yourself that work hard to save these little guys.

At least the babies have a much better chance now. They still have fleas coming off them dying 24 hours later. And to top it all off they are loaded with earmites, so that's another task I have to address with the five I have here. The first group are doing wonderful now, and are perking up and eating six plus cans of wet food a day, plus dry food. So energetic compared to the first day. Now prayers need to be said for the two I got yesterday that all will go well with their little eyes, and that no one will have to lose an eye due to such ignorance from these (well fill in the blanks).

If I filled in those blanks QSA, I would definitely be banned from PT.

It was so hard to look at those pitiful pictures without tears streaming down my face.
I hope and pray that these little ones eyes heal completely.
I'm so glad to hear that the others are doing so well.
It's no wonder with the devotion you give to them.
We need a lot more people like you in this world Jan.
Thank you for being there for them.
