Scampers eats in the kitchen, Roxy eats in my bedroom, and the other 5 eat in the living room. They each eat a measured amount (depending on the cat) in the morning and in the evening. They each have their own bowl and when I set them on the floor they each go to the right one. :)

They all eat twice a day - breakfast and late dinner. Two on reducing diets eat on the floor at opposite ends of the kitchen and Eliot eats on the counter. Food is taken up after they are done (about 15 minutes) Eliot eats on the copunter because the plush kitties like his regular food better;) but seldom make the effort to jump on the counter when they are hungry.

Well, mine eat before I get MY COFFEE in the mornings, the time depends on what time THEY WAKE ME UP!.... On my off time I can sleep as late as 9am ....IF they let me!!... 3 cats= 3/4 cup Science diet, twice a day.. usually...well, most of the time it's twice a day...then, they want more about lunchtime but I don't give them THAT much and they don't get that all the time at lunchtime.. Ah, then there is treat time, usually once in the evening 2, 3, maybe 4 each...NO more than 4, I PROMISE!! UNLESS one is taking medicine.... or I am trying to get soft paws on Giz.... or clip Amy's claws...Then 3/4 cup (for all) at suppertime or bedtime if I can con them into waiting...

Assigned bowls? Are you kidding? Well, Chester had HIS bowl before Amy came. Then he ate out of his and then he would go sample her kitten chow.. Then came Giz and she wanted it all, adult and kitten, she taught Amy how to get on the counter to Chesters bowl so now it's whoever gets to what bowl first...

I love orginization as you can tell!

We feed our two furkids twice a day, but the gutses eat whenever they feel like it and kick up a fuss if there's not enough food!

I fill their bowls twice a day, but they are basically free fed because I leave the food out for them to eat at their leisure. Whenever I say "Kikikikiki", they all come running like a herd of elephants from wherever they are (I am going to try to get a video of that soon). Shiloh eats on the bathroom counter - she's the princess and would rather not eat than share her food with the others. Missy has started making me put some food on the middle level of the cat tree in my room  Maya eats on my bedroom floor from her own bowl, and the 5 boys share a big bowl near where Maya eats. I just realized that its the GIRLS who are the finicky ones at feeding time. Such princesses.

Kitchen and Computer room. 3 Cats
I measure out 1 cup between two bowls in the morning They get another 1 cup between two bowls at or around our dinner time. I may put a few spoonfuls in before I go to bed at night.

Everyone takes their turn at a bowl. Eleanor has turned out to be the chow hound, she took that title away from Skinny. LOL
Here lately, Skinny has started to sleep with us at night along with Thumper, who has slept with us for a long time. So they are both ready to eat in the mornings.

Lucky, the Nutro Weight Maintance fills them up fast with just a few bites. My gang has never been ones that eat everything at one sitting.

Hubby and/or son feed them as soon as they are awke in the mornings. Allen won't get out of the bedroom door before he's yammering for his food. So whomever's up first will be pushed down the stairs to the kitchen by a starving kitty. If its my son, the boys will be fed overly-well  - he just dumps a ton of food in the bowl. Hubby actually follows the "half cup for each cat" directions.

Allen eats on the little kitchen table (too small for us humans to eat at) and he STANDS on the chair, with his paws on the table and eats. Pouncer eats out of his very own special Mikasa Chirstmas candy dish. Only the finest for my little boy.:D

Tama, Cookie, and Pumpkin all have assigned bowls in the kitchen that they run right to. Everyone gets fed in the evening between 7 and 8. Neko gets fed his measured amount of Waltham Control pHormula and the others get their measured amount of Science diet Light. Oh yeah, and Neko gets fed in the cat room.

I don't live with Chris (my ex, still friends, though!) and Lock (the Bengal) anymore, but, I know when I was there, we fed Lock two to three times a day. If he was eating beef or sardines, we'd put it in his bowl and let him eat off the kitchen counter or in the room we used to gate off (because of Finn). When we gave him a chicken leg, we'd just let him eat on the counter. It's easier to clean! :) And, no real specific times, just when we'd wake up, once during the day, and, before bed.

These three eat in the kitchen where they know their own bowl - course Ketchum will just eat anyone's food - but Dan and Bagel only eat from their bowls.

I feed them in the morning - then perhaps a little more mid afternoon and last thing at night. I'm seriously beginning to think though that Ketchum MUST go on a diet - he weighs a ton!! When he sits on my arm when I'm on my laptop - my arm goes 'dead' in about 10 minutes -

They are feed both meals in the kitchen.

In the mornings they get dry food. This is at 5:45, right after I get up for work. They get me up at this time on my days off too.

In the evenings, they have wet food.

Each time Beau is on my left and Felicia is on my right. Although they sometimes switch to the others food. I'm glad they get the same food.

Cubby is free fed. I fill up his bowls when ever he runs out. He eats in the bedroom the most, if the bedroom door is closed he eats in the hallway, or if I am in the kitchen he will eat in the kitchen. The only one that I have to dump the food after so long is the one in the kitchen. He refuses to use that one unless I am in there watching him to make sure his bowls aren't going to attack him.

I keep dry food out all day/night (Mixture of Royal Canin Indoor, Royal Canin Special and IVD Duck/Pea).

I feed them Innova wet food at night either when I get home from work, or right before bed.

They all have their special places to eat:
Noah-under the microwave cart (on a shelf)
Noel-on the table
Basie-doesn't like wet food...eats out of dry food bowls
Livvy-in her enclosure, next to her water
Micah-in the kitchen
Hermie-in the hallway
Phoebe & Sami are fed in the bathroom

I keep it this way for when Micah is on his raw diet and if the others require medication. Its easier to make sure they aren't bothered by the others and prevent bowl hopping... :)

The Es free feed. I fill the two bowls in the kitchen at night before I go to bed. They eat out of whichever bowl the other one last ate from...;)
They get turkey first thing in the morning and at dinner time. Edwina eats on the table, Eddie on the floor. Unless Edwina decides that Eddie's food looks better than hers in which case she eats his on the floor and he sits and looks sad until I put him on the table to eat Edwina's.

Our three free feed. Their bowls are in the den, right beside the kitchen. They all eat out of all 3 bowls. We refill the bowls at night before we go to bed. (We used to fill them in the morning, but found out that feeding at night alleviates the 5:00 a.m. "Feed me!" wake up calls.:))

They get food any time they want around here. There's always a bowl of food around. In the house the food is on the dryer, so the dogs can't get it.
Then when they are outside and get hungry, there a special made cat house where their food is keep, again made so the dogs can't get their food. That gets filled once in the morning and once in the late afternoon.
The kittens get feed on the screen porch, that bowl is always being filled.

Marsha free feeds. We just leave the bowl in the bathroom, and when it's empty fill it. Also, she thinks any time we open tuna she needs the juice, and when meowmie is having a popsicle, she needs to have most of it!

Both of mine eat dry food. Tito is fed in the guest bedroom, and Sophie is fed in my bedroom. I have to shut Tito in the guest room before I feed Sophie or else he'll eat her food, which is Science Diet Kitten, and his own food. Tito, I love him to death, but he's a little piggy!! The vet told me to go ahead and put him on adult weight loss food because he's already getting overweight at 8 months old. I have been feeding he suggested amount (1/3 cup a day) since the beginning of April, and so far, he isn't losing any weight, only gaining. :( Right now he weighs about 9 pounds, and while he isn't obese, I'd say he's a little too plush. Fat hanging down from the belly, etc. I feed him Nutro MaxCat Light, 1/3 cup a day, and he won't lose weight. I've tried the Nutro, Iams Weight Loss, Science Diet Lite, etc. etc. etc. I have gone through almost two bags of the Nutro and he's only getting bigger. So I will be buying another type next time I buy! :(

Anyway, I feed them each three times a day: at 7 AM, 5:30 PM and 11:00 PM. Tito gets 1/3 cup total for the whole day, measured into three even parts of course. Sophie free feeds. She eats as much as she wants, and then I have to put the leftovers up before I let Tito out of his solitary confinement :) As soon as I let him out, he runs to Sophie's bowl looking for bits of kitten food. He has even been known to turn her bowl over to get to pieces on the floor near the edge of her bowl, which of course means he spills her water bowl. Aargh, feeding time is not much fun around here!
