We haven't been posting much lately, but we had a loss in the family that kind of threw everyone for a loop. Fiona, our golden, had a lesion on her brain that came on quickly and we had to say goodbye to her on June 4th. The cats have been very depressed, especially Tiger, Pippin and Percy. Percy has had the hardest time - he sits by the windows and looks for Fiona and paces around all night laying in her favorite nap spots and looking for her around the house. He's gotten a little better, but really needs a lot of attention which is unusual for him. Needless to say, we miss her tremendously. We just wanted to let everyone know that all the boys are fine, just a little sad right now. But we still visit and try to keep up on all the news, just haven't posted much.
Here's a cute Pippin pose - a true slug on the rug!

So sorry to hear about Fiona's passing. I know you are all just crushed. I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago, and meant to send you a message to find out where you were.
I really feel for you, and wish there was more I could say or do for you to make you feel better, But there is only one thing that will do that and that is time.
Again my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and the rest of the family. Give all the sweet kitty's a hug and a kiss for me.
Rest in Peace, sweet Fiona, my you run and play happily at the bridge.:(

Thanks for your kind thoughts....Yes, Willie, you are right. It just takes time. I feel so bad for TigerTiger especially. He LOVES dogs and really loved Fiona - they were buddies.
Fiona's ashes will rest under our apple trees, she loved apples! and a little bit will be left at the beach on the coast -her favorite playground!
In the meantime, it's pea picking season and Tiger has decided he loves to eat peas - right in the pod. Eats the whole thing! Anyone elses cats eat veggies?:)
