Well, I was about to post a "90 day wait is over" thread ... as the end of this month would be the end. However, my little orangie, Pee Wee is not looking too great. Remember, he was very sickly when he came in at about 6 weeks old .... that is how he became "Pee Wee" in the first place. He has fought and fought with the darned recurring URI and after his neuter, he seemed so much better. Well, he is coughing again and looks sickly in the face, and worst yet, his gums look pale to me....which is a very bad sign of Felv. :( :( :(
Everyone here (at home) is so madly in love with Pee Wee man .... we will all be devastated if anything happens to our little man.:( :( :( :(
Please pray that he will test negative .... we won't be able to have him tested until Wednesday (payday). I have this horribly hopeless feeling again.
I (of course) have Tabitha and the two new babies ... Cooper and Claire ... in isolation ... and will also have them tested next week. God PLEASE let this illness STOP!!!! :(

Oh Kim that's so sad. Lots and lots of prayers coming through for little Pee Wee. Hang in there Kim. You've done such a great job so far; things are bound to turn out negative. It's going to be a long wait until Wednesday.

Ninety days is such a long time to have to wait to find out results. Praying things go well and that it's just a touch of URI. Coccidea can also cause pale gums and lethargy. Hope Pee Wee and all the others are fine. Hugs...Jan

It was not 90 days for results. It was a 90 days to show any signs of illness.
Praying that Pee Wee illness is something else :(

Pee Wee has always had chronic URI since birth .... but recently, since his neuter and shots he has been doing sooooooo well! He is still very playful and active, but coughing and like I said earlier, his gums seem really pale to me! :( One of the main symptoms of Felv is anemia, so that is why I am so concerned. Maybe I am just being paranoid? I sure hope so ... but I do know that he and Duncan were really cuddly together. :( :(
Wednesday is the day I am waiting for ..... please pray for us, and I will let you know as soon as I know anything.

I'm so sorry that Pee Wee is looking ill. Many prayers from me and my crew that it is not FELV or ANYTHING to serious for poor Pee Wee.

From what I understand about FeLV it takes repeated longterm exposure from an infected cat, for another to come down with it. It's still a very scary virus to contend with, and as soon as I hear what that holistic diet is I'll let you and others know. Give Pee Wee a kissy for me.

I'm sorry to hear Pee Wee isn't doing well. Hopefully it's no FeLV again!
My vet says anemia can occur for many reasons, but with your recent history, I can understand your concerns very well.
Please keep us updated on Wednesday, postive thoughts are coming from here, hope it's not what you fear!
Kirsten
