Spain's Law For Animal Protection

I found this interesting article on a law forbiding all animal
euthanasia in this town in Spain. I am amazed & very happy to
hear about this needed protection for abandoned animals.

I wish we in America could be brave enough to try this in just
one city.

Interesting thing about this Spanish no-kill policy...it's written into the LAW! As you say, a very brave thing to do.

There are shelters that try to be no-kill. One I admire in the US is in San Francisco. Where I live in australia, there's a shelter called the Animal Welfare League which is aiming to be no-kill.
