Great News for Miss Emma!!!

I had a lady call me this weekend looking for a lap kitty for her father .... a gift for Father's Day. He had recently lost his beloved lap kitty of many years, and really was wanting another. At first I told the woman that I didn't have one ... but then I got to thinking. Miss Emma (the beautiful Black Smoke) is a very loving kitty ... but she never has meshed well with the others here. She will only show her true personality when she is alone .... which unfortunately couldn't happen often in my cathouse~! :rolleyes:
So I contacted the woman about Emma and she came to visit her. I tell you, Emma was sooooooo thrilled to have the company and I am so extremely happy about the connection. SHe will finally be the QUEEN of her own domain, and one very treasured and spoiled little lap girl!!! I will miss her, but I can honestly say that she has gotten what she really deserves!!!! :D

edit: Emma had been in my care for about 15 months, and her forever home finally came through ..... what a great feeling!

Oh Kim, this is such great news. I know you will miss her terribly, but it sounds like she will be going to a good loving home. I'm so happy for you and for sweet Emma.
Will the woman keep you posted on how Miss Emma is doing in her new home?

What a great story! It's always wonderful when you have a cat for a long time and suddenly, here comes a forever home! That has happened for me only a few times and it was so nice (people sent photos to let me all was ok!) Good work! and good for you thinking of your kitty as a possibility! Will they keep in touch with you for a while?

This is such great news. Miss Emma will finally rule her own world! I hope the lady joins Pet Talk. We'd all love to know how Emma settles in her comfy, new life.

Kim, that is such great news for Miss Emma!! It is so nice to know that she is going to a home where she will be the Queen of her castle. I know you will miss her, but I know that you wanted her to have that wonderful home, where she can get some one on one spoiling!
