What a beautiful girl you are Heidi! I love the expression on your face too. You seem to be simply dying for a good game of fetch. I have seen that pleading look on my Bella's face too many times. :) I had to smile as I read about you sneaking stuffies outside. That is a rule around here - no toys outside or they might end up in pieces under the lawn mower :eek: but my two still try to smuggle them just like you. :) Heidi I wish you the happiest day today, maybe having a swim or a nice game or two of fetch with your tennis ball! :)

Heidi, you remind me of the first dog in my life. I was a baby and don't remember her, but on the pictures, she looks very much like you. There is no record of what her name was, so from now on I will think of her as *Heidi*.

Congratulations on being selected Dog of the Day. The honor is well deserved. You are simply a wonderful dog and I think your family realizes what a rare find they have in you. Don't worry about Nick. He is just trying to play it cool, lest you know how crazy he is about you too. Just wait, one day he will slip and show you.

Now about the stuffies going outside. I am on your side on this one. What is yours is yours and you should be able to take it with you where you want to go. What you have to do is remember to bring them back in with you. Tell mom to help you by reminding you to *go get your stuffie*. In no time, you will get the idea. My Tucker likes to take his stuffies outside. Somehow he has convinced his sister, Hannah, to be the one responsible to bring them back in. Maybe you could get Nick to do that. Anyway, I hope this great day is celebrated with a new stuffie and a new policy about where they get to go. Good luck!

Heidi, what a beautiful girl you are. I kept going back and looking at your sweet, soulful face off and on today while I worked. You are a sweetheart in every sense of the word, and obviously mean the world to your family!

My Tommy boy too likes to sneak his toys past us when he can... only in his case his favorite toys are logs and he tries to get them IN the house :D. It seems like half the fun for you is seeing if you can get one out there before your people catch you ;) I don't doubt with that border collie and Shepherd heritage that you are one incredibly smart cookie!

Heidi.........I haven't posted for a few weeks, but you are so beautiful I just had to stop a minute and say hi. When I was a senior in high school we had a dog that looked so much like you. His name was Wolfy. I loved him so much!
