I couldn't resist this picture of our growing baby Cockatiels, taken today (6/8)! We still have one more egg that could potentially hatch by tomorrow, but right now, 3 thriving babies!!! :)

What a sweet gentle Mama Milly! I love the picture of the tiny one on the right, beak open, and no doubt gently peeping for a turn at some food! :) :) :) It must be so exciting to have a new family like that and be able to watch them growing day by day! :D

I wish you could too, Aly!!!! I've already tried to recruit Popcornbird to come babysit while I'm on vacation, week after next. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to do then!

Send me a ticket..........and I'll be on my way. ;);)
Seriously though, if I could, I would. That would be such a wonderful experience.......birdie-sitting 3 precious little newborn tiels and watching them grow into gorgeous little feathered ones.
What do you plan on doing though? You could take them along, but I would worry about the stress with travel, for both the parents and babies.

Awwwwwww! And what a good momma Milly is being, too!
So sweet!!!!!!! Little does Mama Milly know that her babies are real celebrities here at Pet Talk! Milly, you did a beautiful job and we are all impressed with your mothering skills! Where is Roger? Logan, do you keep him separated from the babies now? (I know I have absolutely no birdie knowledge). :o
OMG! That is so sweet! Looks like Milly is a good mom:)
Can't wait to see pictures of them as they grow up!

I used "Carefresh" to pad the makeshift nest, Michelle. It's a product made for small animal cages, like hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, birds, etc. So that's what you're seeing, along with a little food scraps (lettuce) and maybe a little birdie poop! Hehehe!!! :)
Pam, Since Roger had been separated from Milly, before, I dare not let him in with her now, so he's in a separate cage. I got ready to take his picture this afternoon when he was watching her feed them and the batteries died in the camera! I'll try again tomorrow, and hopefully, I will get one. It was too cute, watching him perched up there, watching through the bars of the cage. :)
Thanks for your interest, everyone! We're learning together!!! :D
