Lazing away with daddy while he watches television (taken at about 9:30--that's as dark as it gets right now)
Ivy, Twicket and Pete all snuggling with Daddy.

How sweet! Cute little snuggle bugs!
Your Husband doesn’t look quite as comfortable as the cats.
I almost didn’t see the 3rd Kitty.
Glacier, do all your dogs get along with the cats?

Almost all of them do. Of the 18 dogs only one is a real problem with the cats. Kayleigh is a malamute mix and has a very high prey drive. We've tried to teach her that the cats aren't snacks, but she doesn't get it. So when it's her turn to come inside, the cats get locked up in a big bedroom with access to their kitty run.

Huskies are supposed to be bad with cats in general so we've been very lucky. They all know that the cats are off-limits and if they want house time they can't bug the cats! I'm not so sure that they would be as nice to an outdoor cat running though their yard--fortunately, no one around here has outdoor cats so they are unlikely to find out!

I just noticed that if you look really closely right behind the green pillow, there is a little pair of kitty ears. I think that's Felicia hiding back there. So there's 4 in the pic!

Yeap, I had to go look for the third kitty, and thought I seen a pair of ears sticking up behind the pillow. What a great way to sleep, surrounded by all those cute kitties.

One thing, thats a dark as it gets? Realize I am very dumb, tell me about that!

I live on the Canadian side of the border, but I could be in Alaska in less than an hour. The sun doesn't set this time of year at all. We get a couple dim hours between 1-3 am or so. But you can still see outside without a flashlight. Camera would use the flash then, but still take good pictures. We won't see true darkness again until late August and a normal length night won't happen until September. Course it's completely reversed in the winter months when we only get a couple hours of light a day.

That's so crazy. I've often wondered what that would be like. I can't see very well at night, so I'd never be able to drive in the winter!

I'm jealous of all the kitty-snuggles. Down here it only cold enough a couple of months. Right now, forget it.
