std tests for cats?

It was mentioned in another thread to have your cat tested for std's if mated.

Is there such tests? What are they called & what are their procedures?

I don't know what std stands for, or if there is a test. Have you searched the web?

Oh , I wonderedwhat stds maent. No problems inside , but the Strays , could well be very vulnerable , as they dont have Cat Condoms!
