I'm looking to adopt a ratty or possibly get one from a breeder. I'm not sure if there are any breeders nearby (I live in Reno Nv and am willing to travel a bit). I already have a female ratty, and I am looking for a companion for her *I'm heasitant to get another from the pet store, Cleo had a bad resporatory (sp?)infection that required meds. I don't want to possibly A infect my rat again, B infect my roomates rat or C have to tend to another sick ratty (its heartbreaking)* Whereas Skyre (the roomates ratty) and Cleo get supervised play time together, they are caged seperatly for the obvious reason that Skyre is a male and is conciderably older and more cranky than Cleo lol. Cleo gets really bored and lonely during the day when I am at work and I have heard from lots of you here at PT that getting her a cagemate would be a good idea, even though she is out with me for about 2 hours (if not more) a day. Cleo is aprox 10 months old and is living in a cage big enough to house three rats. She is really friendly and receptive to other rattys and animals in general execpt for cats! I apreciate you alls help. I just want the best for my little Cleo.
