How often do your cats scratch themselves? I ask because mine do it a few times a day, and I don't know what might be considered excessive vs. normal.......I'd say they scratch in their ears 2-4 times a day - is this normal amount or is it cause for concern? They had their yearly check up in march and ori had a 'very slight' ear infection which we treated (doctor said it wouldn't be contagious to Wilber) Now I'm paranoid, cause of their scratching. I also started using revolution this month and plan to continue - they say it prevents ear mites, but I'm wondering if it would kill any existing ones. There's no discharge or odor form the ear, but they do seem to scratch, like I said a few times a day - it seems like they always have scratched though.....Am I just being silly? Do you pets do this? :o
