For The Big Poodle and Golden Lovers...pics

Yes, I did it again. Walked right up and said "Hi, would you mind if I took a picture of your dog?".....lol. I'm sure my family thinks I'm crazy. I had to though. I just can't help it. I met Reggie, the black standard poodle and Honey the golden retriever. Turns out they were at the park that I was at to see if Honey could pass a test to get her "Canine Good Citizen" award. I think that is what they called it. Reggie is 11 years old and belongs to the instructer/trainer and was so well behaved. Just beautiful. Honey is 2 years old and definitely deserved that award. She did great! They picked the park because Honey had to pass the test with distractions around her. They didn't know it when they set it up to meet there that there was going to be a battle of the band contest going on and a bunch of people! Talk about distraction! She is such a pretty girl. Oh wow! I just love goldens and she is sure pretty! I'm not a huge fan of poodles, but there are some that I really do like! Reggie looks glad to be along!

LOL. :o I ask people if I can take pictures of their dogs too. Valerie even stopped one guy at home depot to take a pictures of his Aussie. :p

Oh Robin what beautiful dogs!!! I had a female black standard poodle named Whitney who unfortunately left for the RB in 1996. How this beautiful boy brought back memories of my special girl. What a handsome boy he is! :cool: I would not hesitate to photograph other people's dogs either. I think that more than likely their humans would be flattered. I can often be found talking to dogs who are left in cars by their humans, my last being a conversation with two adorable doxies in an SUV outside of Sam's Club. It turns out that their humans returned to the car in the midst of my conversation and they didn't find me to be odd at all! (at least I hope not!) :D Gosh I can't wait for Logan to see Honey!!!

Robin, that is so funny. My family always thinks I'm crazy when I have to pet people's dogs when we are out. I don't know, they might have me committed if I started taking pictures LOL.:D Actually, I really like the idea:D They better get my bed ready!:D
Both dogs are gorgeous. They say that standard poodles are extremely intelligent.
