A sketch of Floyd by my favorite artist!!!

My son Blake, age 14 is quite the artist! He has drawn a picture of our blue front amazon, Floyd! :) Please let him know what you think of this picture of his favorite feathered friend, Floyd!

Blake will graduate from eighth grade on Tuesday, May 18th!!!:)

:) Thanks Kay! It's great to hear from you! I have missed you all here at PT. I will be sure and show him this page! He will be thrilled by your comments! I really try to encourage his skills he has with drawing, he has done some awesome stuff, he never ceases to amaze me. I figured this would be just another way of showing Blake just how proud I am of him and new way to encourage him to do what he enjoys and does well.

Yes, Blake will be going to high school when August comes!

Jennifer, tell Blake I loved his sketch! he really done a good job on Floyd. What night is Blake graduating, oh excuse me I just looked back and seen it was on the 18th. Tell him congratulation. I know he is going to like high school better. Lindsey had a blast in high school.

Yes, he did do a great job on his Floyd picture, i think I may frame it nearby Floyd's cage! I think he will like it too. He kisses the big mirror behind his cage all the time, so I am sure he will like Blake's picture! I will tell him first thing in the morning what you said; he will be home with me tomorrow, instead of at school as his allergies have been acting up with the pollen being like it is this year, so he will see this soon. I hope Blake will have a great time in high school and do good, he is in the top of his grade in reading, actually he is gifted in that area, so i am sure it will all be good for him in the years ahead.

I love that sweet Brad Pitt smile from my grandson! No doubt about that!:D I have known he is going to be an artist for a long time!:) I am very proud of him and love him very much!

The family here are all fine:) It was bath and groom day here for all three dogs. I guess it was dog day here? lol:D

Blake said thank you for saying that about his drawing, I think he is looking forward to highschool and looking even more forward to his 8th grade graduation ceremony! I am too! I plan to take pictures galore! :)
