OK, we have gotten "hints" about what is going on at your house through Cinder's thread, but it would be good to see and "hear" it where we all can focus on you guys. You sure have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you all are doing fine, now, but how about a real update, right here??? Please???

Love,
Logan

Thank you so much for asking!!!

Shiloh went to the Opthalmologist for her 2 1/2 month check on her German Shepherd Pannus of the Third Eyelid Form. She is controlled!!!! Let's hope it stays that way! The vet uses a different drug than most Opthalmologists (Tacrolimus Ointment) treating the immune system eye disease. She was happy to see that the results are very good for Shiloh, too. She said she has had good luck with the GSDs with pannus. Shiloh goes back for a recheck in 6 months. I let the other GSD owners on the GSD bb know about the good results from this drug. Maybe it can help them, too.

Killian had been sick last week. He had diarrhea for 5 days. Of course, I got really worried that his liver was failing. I slept in the family room with him so I could let him out numerous times at night. The vet put him on antibiotics and he has now recovered. Whew!!! At this stage of the game, I get nervous when he gets sick.

Thank you for thinking about us!!!! Hope you all are well, too!

Within a few weeks, depending on how Killian is feeling, we may be fostering a GSD male. He has no contagious diseases to pass on to Killi, so he will be safe. I'll let you know what happens!

Love, Sue, Killian and Shiloh

Ok, here's a sneak peek at the boy.....(Buddy, the possible foster)
http://www.petfinder.org/fotos/IL250/IL250.2741483-1-x.jpg
Buddy is a 1 year old black and silver, bi-color male GSD, who was turned over by his owners because they did not want him any longer. Buddy is a very sweet boy who seems to get along with everyone and seems to be a little submissive with other dogs. He would do best in a home with another dog, as we have noticed that he was quite attached to Cloey -they were being fostered together- and now Buddy seems very lonely. Buddy is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and ready to go to his new home. Don't you want to have a new Buddy in the house?!!

Glad to hear your furlids are doing well, Sue! I can understand how easy is must be to worry all the time about Killi. He is such a fighter and strong boy :)

And maybe a foster! I hope it works out for you!!!

Thank you so much for the update, Sue. As usual, you are working your "mommy" miracles with Shiloh and Killian. So glad that they are both doing well this week!!! :)

Good luck with Buddy. I am ashamed of his previous owners, letting him go! I hope he can come stay with you for a while and get some attention and training until he finds his forever home.
