Wow! When I clicked on Today's Cat I thought, "he LOOKS a lot like Eddie and look at his NAME and he's from CHICAGO!" Could it be? Could it really be??? Of course it is! Our very own Eduardo/Eddie and he is looking even more handsome than ever. Eddie I, and gadzillions of others I am sure, have followed your story from a lonely homeless kitty to becoming special sidekick to HH. I realize that at times life with such a moody lady is not *a day at the beach,* but I know you are grateful just the same. Oh Eduardo, my heart skipped a beat this morning when I realized that our excellent COTD was none other than our famous handsome guy.

I have chosen the color green because this is the same color Edwina will be when she realizes that you are hogging the spotlight all day.

Yeah Eddie!!!! I'm SO happy Blondie sent me an email letting me know you made COTD, or I might have missed it - and I would have been devastated had I missed your special day.

I knew you were a special kitty as soon as I saw the picture of you that was stuck through my mail slot at work. I knew you deserved much more than a life on the mean streets of Chicago, and I knew I had to help. Then I got to meet you, and even though you were bewildered and scared, you showed me you had a lot of love to give, and I knew you'd be a very special friend to someone someday.

What I didn't know, was that that very special friend was going to be our own Ms Edwina - Lady Edwina to those who know her better. When I dropped you off that weekend, I had every hope in the world that you would not come back to the office with me. And when I got Blondie's call on Sunday saying they wanted more time to get to know you, I knew you had found your forever home - if Ms Edwina would allow it that is.

It was all riding on you, Eddie, and I think you knew your luck had turned and you didn't want to screw this one up. But I also think it was mostly your sweet loving nature that first of all won Curly over, then BG and Blondie and finally, after much trials and tribulation, Ms Edwina.

Anyway, I could go on and on, but I'll stop now, and just say congratulations on your big day. If anyone ever deserves this honor, it is you sweet boy. You will always be extra special in my heart, and I wish for you the life of riley for the rest of your days. :D :D
