Does your cat like water?

Kiba is the strangest cat I've seen :rolleyes: All cats I've ever seen completely 100% hate water. Where as Kiba, if I'm filling up the tub, she jumps in till it starts to get on her feet. Or after you're draining the tub, she walks around in the water as it drains (just her feet) she use to fall in the tub ALL the time with my mom. You'd think a cat that hates water would learn from that mistake :rolleyes: Yeah, and her first bath..I didn't get one scratch from her..where as Smittens first and second (and last) bath my arms where completely scratched. What do your cats think of water?

Pouncer doesn't mind it at all. He will sit out on the balcony when its rains. He sits in the sink and cries for you to turn the faucet on - so he can drink from it, but then stands in the water that puddles around his feet as he licks.

Kuhio loved it and would jump in the tub with you and walk around as long as the water wasn't too deep.

Halo is fascinated by it and likes to sit on the rim of the tub and drag her tail through it.

Pepper is much the same as Halo.

Cammie -- Well Cammie is a tortie and our one attempt at giving her a bath was an experience my husband says will not be repeated. Cammie barely got wet and exploded into such a fury my husband couldn't hold her and got clawed from neck to "below the equator". :eek:

My Sunny loves to play in water but doesn't like to take a bath. I have to put all 3 water bowls in clean litterboxes because he loves to play in them and splash water everywhere.:eek:

I had to stop using my cat water fountain because Sunny was splashing all of the water out of it. He'll turn 4 in August so I guess he'll never out grow this. I think it's the Aby in him that makes him love to play in water so much.;)

Of my nine (oops! I guess thats ten now) the only one who is my water baby is Leroy!! He would go outside and play in the water hose for hours!! He doesn't care how soaked he gets as long as he can chase the water!! He's such a nut!!!http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/biggrin.gif

UniqueViking, that is sooo funny! Peanut will dip her paws in the water and then lick them instead of just lapping up the water, but thank goodness she doesn't make quite the mess that Bownie does. ;) :D

Tubby doesn't mind water on his body, he just doesn't like it when his feet get wet. I guess I can relate because I love taking baths and such, but I hate it when my hands get wet - weird, I know. :rolleyes: ;) :D
