I am busy installing and trying out this (http://sheltermanager.sourceforge.net/about.php) software, which apparently takes away a lot of the paperwork associated with running a shelter.
Have any of you tried this? How do the shelters where you volunteer handle the "ins"and "outs", the "rehomed" and "PTS" etc???? Our current system is VERY paperwork intensive, and we are looking for ways to streamline it.
I am going to load all the cats from our shelter, and run with it for a couple of weeks, then if it is working, we will add all the dogs in too.
It's a FREE program too.
Anyone have any other suggestions re software for sanctuaries / or just how to cut down on the paperwork.???
