View Full Version : Back bowing down...

My parents are on vacation this weekend, so I'm looking after their Rottweiler Rocky and their cat, Dino.

From my impression, Dino's looks have changed since I last saw him. When he walks or stands, his spine is kind of bowing down in the middle. He has a bit of a belly, but he's not fat or overweight. And he's only 5 years old.

Now if he was my cat, I would have him checked by a vet. But I'm sure my parents (actually it's my mom and her fiancé) will refuse to do that because they won't take me serious. They think I'm too careful with my cats.

Now I'm not only worried about Dino, but also about Luna and Lily. After all, he could have some virus infection, for example FIP. My girls are not vaccinated against that.

I don't like the entire thing, especially because Luna has been at my parents place a couple of times last year.

I was also thinking about taking Dino to the vet tomorrow and pay for the bill, but I have busy schedule tomorrow; besides, I'm afraid he won't let me put him into his carrier. And on Tuesbday, my parents will be back.

Do I worry too much?
