This is from a friend at work - another cat person. Two kitties need homes ASAP. South San Francisco area:

One is black, long hair - neighbor named "Fluffy". He's been hanging around for about 2 years. He's super friendly but possessive - if you pet him and he's not done yet he will grab you (needs his nails clipped). I am sure that he is fixed - he is tame, and wants to come inside the house. I think that someone moved and just left him to fend for himself, and up until now has done a good job of it.

The other just started coming around a few weeks ago. Neighbor named "Pixie". ADORABLE! It's like a dwarf kitty, little squat legs and a bobbed tail. It is tiger striped, lite brown and dark brown. It's very talktative and friendly and it too would gladly come into the house.

For years the neighbor has had cats hanging out in her yard (which is part of my friend's backyard) and her daughter who is staying with her seems to attract the strays. She has 7 cats of her own and can't bring home any more.

She will try and get photos over the weekend with the digital camera. I will post them here when I get them.

Thanks for your help.

They both sound like wonderful cats.:) Is there any way to place them with a local rescue organization? This way they could go to adoption fairs and get exposed to the public.:) Good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing their pictures.:)

Pixie has been rescued and is available for adoption at Pets In Need in Redwood City, CA. She is NOT pregnant and tested negative for FELV and FIV.

We're still trying to catch Fluffy.
