I'm starting a fun poll, nothing serious here. My cat has shown me that he has a protective nature. He became very aggressive once when a dog ventured up on my porch one evening, and stuck his nose up to the screen door. I think my cat thinks he is a lion sometimes. Does your house cat or outdoor cat behave like a lion when a dog or other animal ventures too near her territory?? Does she see herself like the cat in this picture??

Edwina walks in the grass as if she were in the savannah stalking prey!

Stubby thinks he is my daughters protector. If any of her boyfriends touched her, he would growl at them. Of course I am not sure how he feels about the one she is engaged to.
Grover is kind of a little scardy cat. If she is not sure of something she sorts of lurks behind the furniture waiting to see what is going to happen.

Angel, the tiger tabby, is right at the door when my daugher and grandkids visit. He is such a ham! Sweetie, the calico, always runs for cover, usually under the bed, just out of sight where the comforter hangs to the floor. The calico is always the cat they want to see, but the 'fraidy cat only gives them a little view of her hind feet and tail...Funny thing, Sweetie is like Trayi52's cat in that she is my protecter and watchcat when I'm in bed. A stray dog came up the outside steps to eat catfood( ) one night, and she growled like something in the Amazon jungle. Her voice was real low, almost like a dog, like Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! But when it comes to strangers entering the house, she is a 'fraidy cat..
