Taz, looks like your fellow Australians are first to congratulate you on becoming Dog of the Day. I wonder if your name 'Taz' is short for Tasmania.

Australian Cattle Dogs work cattle, not sheep. They characteristically nip at the cattle's feet to get them moving. So they're also called Blue Heelers.
Kelpies & short-haired Border Collies are the breeds that work with sheep here.

You sound like a great family member, Taz....even being nice to the cat. I hope you get lots of treats today to celebrate becoming famous for your good looks & lovely nature.:)
