I thought this was interesting and a great reminder of how
much our pets depend upon us. Their lives are so short & it's
easy to forget they won't be with us forever.

Very touching.
I am about to adopt a dog (see thread "German Shepherd Dog" from last week), and i praying day and night to never, never neglect him, or leave him behind. He should be the priority number one in my life.

Another sad one. I've been fortunate in my life because my parents taught me at a very young age how to respect animals. Some of those stories made me sad. Didn't read all of them as I'm at work.

Even with my last two RB dogs who were treated extremely well, I regret not doing things more often the things they would enjoy, such as taking them along in the car when we went some place and they could have gone. One could see such pleasure on Bailey's face when she was riding in the car. It was sheer delight, the equivalent of a kid going to Disney World. Sadly we didn't take her very much. I get upset just thinking of it. I try to do better with Hannah and Tucker. Hannah loves to play with me being undistracted (no watching TV and trying to engage her at the same time). She lives for our afternoon time together.

That was very interesting.
I too regret not doing things for my RB Keisha. That's why I try so hard to give the 3 I have now what I can.

Thankyou for posting that. *Note to self extra walk for dogs tomorrow* even though they get walked every day i know they would like a little more exercise.
